Play Based Learning

What Is Play Based Learning?

Learning is a lot of work. For many children, especially those who are younger, it can become frustrating and hard to focus after a few hours. That is where play based learning can help. During this type of learning, a child is engaging in truly high-quality programs and projects that do not seem like work. It takes more of the textbook and lecture out of the day’s learning program and replaces it with activities that teach in a fun and hands-on manner.

Why is this beneficial? With play based learning, many children remain stimulated and readily learning for longer periods of time. They may retain more information. Some may even be able to grasp hard topics, those that they would not be able to understand as well through traditional methods.
